Conveyancing Fee

In terms of your conveyancing fee we aim to provide you with the most competitive fees for buying, selling or re-mortgaging.

The conveyancing fees, as negotiated with our suppliers, are from £279 on purchase and sales and from £225 on remortgages. All these figures are plus VAT and Disbursements.

The conveyancing fee charged equates to the fee levied by the Practice and is seperate from the cost of the Disbursements. Disbursements are generally classed as sums of money which are paid out by the conveyancing solicitor on your behalf ie. local searches, registration fees, Stamp Duty etc.

Whilst the actual cost of carrying out your transaction may be several thousand pounds it should be borne in mind that the conveyancing fee the solicitor receives is only a small proportion of the total cost of your conveyancing.

If at the end of your transaction the Practice that has carried out your conveyancing increases their fee please let us know and we will look into this matter on your behalf.

On a final note it's worth noting that some online solicitors may quote for "disbursements" that could possibly be listed as part of the fee.
